Cookbooks and Culinary Books

I both edit and index cookbooks, and working with cookbooks is one of my favorite things to do.
As a long-time cookbook collector and avid home cook, I know how important a well-written and carefully edited recipe is, and how essential a well-crafted cookbook indexes is to home cooks.

In addition to editing recipes and editing and indexing cookbooks, I have a deep interest and expertise in culinary books.

I particularly enjoy working on vegan, vegetarian, and whole-food plant-based cookbooks, world cuisines,
travel/memoir cookbooks, & cocktail/mocktail books. I have also indexed a number of baking and holiday cookbooks.

I am a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, and its Food Writers, Editors & Publishers membership group.

I also coordinate the American Society for Indexing’s Culinary Indexing Special Interest Group.
